The University of Oregon football team will wear pink helmets, shoes, socks and gloves Saturday in a game against Washington State on the next-to-last weekend of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

    It's October! Breast Cancer Awareness Month - wear pink, show support! You never notice how great this month is till it actually affects your family. RIP to all the beautiful angels & lots of support and prayers to those still fighting.

    Oh.........DAMN those that mock the disease.

    I watch football for entertainment and to get away from the dark things in life. It's an escape. I understand where they're coming from and I would be fine with it for a week but a whole month is BS. There are plenty of other diseases that do more damage. It's political BS and this is coming from a person who had someone close die from breast cancer this year.
